Payroll & HR Operations Manager
Our client is a French company operating in the Tech industry. As part of a broader HR structuring initiative, they are looking for a Payroll & HR Operations Manager to join their team and oversee all payroll and HR administrative processes, both in France and internationally!
Missions
Reporting to the HR Director, and acting as a true Business Partner , you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and reliability of payroll and HR administration processes across the entire perimeter, covering approximately 300 employees . You will manage relationships with external payroll providers, structure HR documentation, and actively contribute to HR digitalization projects.
Your responsibilities are organized around three key areas:
Payroll Management & Oversight
- End-to-end management of the payroll process in coordination with external providers ;
- Validation of payslips and quality control of transmitted data ;
- Management of social declarations (DSN, withholding tax, etc.) ;
- Ongoing regulatory watch on labor law and payroll-related developments.
HR Administration
- Drafting employment contracts and amendments ;
- Managing absences (sick leave, maternity, workplace accidents) and tracking working hours ;
- Processing final settlements, managing health insurance and provident fund affiliations;
- Maintaining and securing employee records.
Continuous Improvement & Cross-functional Projects
- Optimization of HR processes and tools (HRIS, payroll/admin automation) ;
- Production of social reporting and HR dashboards for senior management ;
- Supporting HR teams in the rollout of collective projects ;
- Contributing to the compliance of internal practices.
With a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Payroll or Human Resources Management, you bring 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-site or international environment.
Hard Skills
- Strong expertise in French labor law and payroll regulations ;
- Proven experience managing an outsourced payroll process ;
- Solid knowledge of legal obligations related to personnel management ;
- Proficiency in payroll tools and HRIS, ideally ADP/Decidium/Celergo
- Ability to produce and interpret HR dashboards and KPIs ;
- Professional English required to operate in an international context.
