About the role
Scope: You will manage the HR operations for the HQ entities (85 employees across 5 legal entities ) and provide support to Corporate populations (180 people located worldwide) . You report to the Group HR Director .
Key Responsibilities
- Personnel Administration: Manage employee onboarding and offboarding; build, update, and maintain employee administrative files; create employee profiles in HR systems and ensure data integrity within the HRIS; draft employment contracts, amendments (addenda), and offer letters; manage affiliations with social organizations, residence permits (visas), and departure formalities; coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Payroll: You are responsible for the operational payroll process for France-based Group entities, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the payroll provider. Collect and track variable payroll data (sick leave, transport reimbursements, absences, bonuses, etc.); audit payslips and ensure the consistency of transmitted data.
- Data Quality and HR Reporting: Guarantee the quality, reliability, and confidentiality of HR data; produce and analyze reports for your scope; track HR KPIs and propose corrective actions when necessary; ensure compliance with procedures and legal obligations regarding HR data management.
- Manager and Employee Support: Advise managers on HR-related questions concerning their teams; provide guidance on HR policies, processes and tools; support recruitment needs based on business requirements; guide managers through HR processes (Performance appraisals, talent reviews, employee development); identify and manage local training needs; manage employee relations and contribute to a positive social climate.
- Labor Relations and Compliance: Manage legal and social aspects of labor relations within your scope; contribute to relations with the Social and Economic Committee (CSE) and external bodies (occupational medicine, health insurance, provident funds); contribute to developments within the scope (labor agreements, policies, etc.); ensure the implementation of HR strategies and policies in France.
- HR Projects: Participate in cross-functional HR projects; provide operational support in tracking progress indicators, implementing HR tools, and labor relations; contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
Qualifications and Experience
The Ideal HR Manager Has
- Higher education degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or equivalent.
- Significant experience of at least 5 years in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on payroll and HR administration.
- Previous experience in a multi-entity environment is essential, ideally within an international context.
- Strong knowledge of French payroll processes and related legal requirements.
- Solid expertise in HR administration, labor law, employee relations and HR data management.
- Experience managing a multi-site or multi-country scope would be a plus.
- Good command of HR systems, HRIS (Workday) and Excel.
- Professional level of English is essential, given the regular interactions with international corporate teams.
