Origination Manager - Renewable Energy

A leading international renewables developer is seeking a Origination Manager to drive the early-stage development of large-scale projects across France.

The Role

You’ll lead the identification, assessment, and securing of high-potential sites for wind, solar, and energy storage projects. Working with internal and external partners, you’ll ensure each project is strategically located, technically feasible, and legally sound.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead origination and early development of large-scale renewable projects.
• Identify and evaluate sites based on grid access, permitting, and resource potential.
• Negotiate and secure land rights with landowners and local authorities.
• Build strong relationships with municipalities and local stakeholders.
• Manage internal teams and external partners to achieve project milestones.
• Collaborate with legal, technical, and development teams to advance early-stage projects.

About You

• 4+ years’ experience in renewable project origination.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen.
