In our Structures Fleet Support Department, you will work with passionate colleagues to make a difference in a human-size company with attractive advantages. We are looking for a Structural Repairs Expert to join Matthieu Larroque’s team of 21 collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advanced structural repair support: leveraging extensive experience and technical expertise to address complex structural repair matters, including devising innovative solutions for both minor and major repairs requested by customers, ensuring high standards of safety and reliability.
  • Case investigation: utilizing a deep understanding of historical damage and repair scenarios to investigate and identify the existence of similar previous cases, providing consistent, well‑informed support.
  • Customer and stakeholder liaison: effectively communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, managing the entire support query lifecycle from initial receipt to complete resolution, ensuring transparency, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Development of generic repair procedures: assisting in creating and refining generic repair procedures based on recurring structural issues, streamlining repair processes, reducing downtime and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Contribution to fleet operations: enhancing safety and economic operations of the ATR fleet by providing customers with highly efficient and timely structural repair and engineering services.
  • Design organization engagement: actively participating in Design Organization activities by preparing and releasing critical approval documents (e.g., Technical Adaptation and Structural Repair Approval Sheets) under Part 21J delegation.
  • Team guidance and mentorship: providing guidance and advice to the team of engineers, mentoring engineers and ensuring the team is well‑equipped for short‑ and long‑term structural repair projects.
  • Cross‑functional expertise: applying a transversal approach to address all structural repair topics across different projects.
  • Knowledge exchange and professional development: participating in knowledge exchange with peers, attending conferences, presenting and contributing to professional forums.
  • Frequent interactions with internal departments: customer support, spares engineering, safety, quality, etc.
  • Damage assessment missions: leading on‑site damage assessment missions to evaluate structural integrity of aircraft after severe damage scenarios such as engine fires, hard landings, runway excursions and ground collisions.
  • On‑site technical support: providing hands‑on technical support during major repairs and/or replacements performed by customers or ATR Working Parties.

About you

  • Educational background: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in aeronautical structures or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, at least 6 years in aircraft structure stress analysis or repair, with a track record of successful complex repair solutions.
  • Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in aircraft structures (preferably ATR structures).
  • Expertise in aircraft structural repair principles (metallic and composite).
  • In‑depth knowledge of metallic and composite materials.
  • Familiarity with non‑destructive testing methods.
  • Knowledge of Leonardo or Airbus drawings is a plus.
  • Language skills:
  • Proficiency in English (B2).
  • Italian is a plus.
  • IT skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with ATR IT tools (CRM, SAMONIT, GILDA) is advantageous.
  • Soft skills:
  • Autonomous, rigorous with strong organizational skills.
  • Open‑minded, positive thinking, excellent team player.
  • Strong customer orientation, ability to anticipate customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Specific constraints: participation in standby duties during evenings, nights and weekends.
