We are looking for a Fleet Structural Support Daily Repair engineer to join our Structures Fleet Support Department in Alexandre Roudot 's team: a team of 12 collaborators.

Your Mission

As a Daily Repair Fleet Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide timely technical support to customers on a 7-days-per-week basis, including participation in morning and evening shifts.
  • Evaluate daily customer requests regarding structural damage on in-service aircraft.
  • Describe all the actions needed to repair aircraft via Structural Repair Instructions.
  • Investigate the existence of previous cases of damage and similar repairs to ensure consistent support.
  • Develop generic repair procedures to effectively address recurring issues.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, oversee the entire lifecycle of global critical queries from initial receipt to full resolution, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Design Organization Engagement: Participate in Design Organization activities by preparing and releasing critical approval documents (such as Technical Adaptation and Structural Repair Approval Sheets) under Part21J delegation.
  • Subcontractor Supervision: Manage the portfolio of subcontractors, ensuring clear work specifications/rules/criteria, expectations and systematic monitoring of OTD/OQD. A strong technical background enables thorough technical checks and high standards.
  • Frequent interactions with customers, the Repair Drawing Team and other ATR departments (customer support, spares engineering, safety, quality, etc.).

About You

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in aeronautical structures or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in aircraft structure stress analysis or repair. Demonstrated expertise in complex structural repair and support, with a track record of solving problems under pressure.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in aircraft structures (preferably ATR structures).
    • Expertise in aircraft structural repair principles (metallic and composite).
    • In-depth knowledge of metallic and composite materials.
    • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods.
    • Knowledge of Leonardo / Airbus drawings is a plus.
  • Language Skills:
    • Proficiency in English (B2 level).
    • Italian is a plus.
  • IT Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Familiarity with ATR IT tools (CRM, SAMONIT, GILDA) is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Autonomous and rigorous with strong organizational skills.
    • Open-minded, positive thinking, and a strong team player.
    • Strong customer orientation with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.

Specific Constraints

The position will require participation in standby duties during evenings, nights and weekends.
