ATR - Propulsion System Integration Expert (H/F) - AVIONS DE TRANSPORT REGIONAL (ATR) GIE

Overview

ATR is the world\'s number one aircraft manufacturer in regional aviation, providing a new generation of turboprops. We are a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo. Our purpose is to deliver air travel to people, communities and businesses in an innovative, sustainable and modern way. We are looking for an experienced Propulsion System Integration Expert to join the Engineering Directorate, Propulsion & Air Systems team (19 collaborators). Your activities will be mainly oriented on project management and technical dossier validation related to propulsion system integration, including propeller, turbine engine, nacelle ventilation and fire detection/extinguishing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support propulsion system projects and design changes.
  • Investigate in-service events and propose mitigations/corrective actions.
  • Validate technical deliverables: specifications, SOWs, certification programs, means of compliance, concessions, etc.
  • Encourage cross-sharing of information within the Propulsion team.
  • Contribute to collaborator development and knowledge sharing (product knowledge, processes, methods and tools).
  • Lead the update of the Propulsion System technology and tool roadmap.
  • Support the Propulsion team in setting schedules and budgets for activities.
  • Engage with operators to share and explain ATR technical decisions.
  • Manage technical alignment with Propulsion Systems suppliers and partners on complex topics.
  • Participate in international regulation working groups.
  • Contribute to ATR Expert community development.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with a specialization in aeronautics, aircraft systems or propulsion.
  • 10+ years of experience in propulsion system design, development or integration.
  • Good knowledge of CS/FAR 25, Part 21, V&V processes.
  • Team spirit, collaborative, open-minded and pro-active.
  • Rigor and ability to deliver clear and synthetic analyses.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Fluent in English and French (Italian a plus).
  • Motivation to contribute to connecting communities and delivering top products and support to customers.

  • Initial contact by Guillaume, Head of Propulsion & Air Systems.
  • Innovative and digital assessment.
  • Interviews with Guillaume, then with HR Recruiter (Mehdi or equivalent).
