Role: Air & Ice Protection Systems Integration Focal Point
• Engineering Directorate – Propulsion & Air Systems team (19 collaborators).
• Full range of engineering activities from early R&T to in‑service events analysis including product improvement and development.
Key responsibilities :
- Identify, agree and prioritise activities with internal & external customers.
- Manage coordination of the Air & Ice protection team (7 collaborators); monitor quality, time and cost of deliverables.
- Encourage cross‑sharing of information within the team.
- Contribute to colleagues’ development and learning (product knowledge, processes, methods, tools).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives; ensure top‑down reporting.
- Lead your own technical topics.
- Validate technical dossiers (specifications, SoW, certification programmes, means of compliance).
- Investigate in‑service events and propose mitigation/corrective actions.
- Manage technical alignment with suppliers and partners (Airbus, Leonardo).
- Contribute to the update of the Air & Ice protection System roadmap.
- Participate in international regulation working groups.
Qualifications
• Engineering background specializing in aeronautics, aircraft systems, thermal management.
• More than 10 years of experience in air/ice protection system design, development or integration.
• Strong knowledge of CS/FAR 25, Part 21 regulations and V&V processes.
• Team spirit, open‑mindedness, pro‑active, rigorous, clear analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and French (Italian a plus).
• Willingness to drive continuous improvement and connect communities to support customers.
