Job Purpose

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and communication goals. This role will focus on creating and curating high‑quality content, managing social media campaigns, and engaging with online communities to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing and communication goals.
  • Conduct social media audits and analyze performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Create high‑quality, engaging content for social media platforms (text, images, videos, live streams).
  • Curate content that resonates with the target audience and supports the brand and messaging.
  • Manage and schedule social media content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, services, or events.
  • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify campaign reach and impact.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic) and provide regular reporting and insights.

Other Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media conversations about the company's brand, competitors, and industry.
  • Identify and report on trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
  • Identify and partner with influencers and manage those relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar that outlines social media content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to drive website traffic, generate leads, and support sales.
  • Manage social media ad budgets and optimize ad performance.

Knowladge And Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
  • High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities.
