Rotating machinery engineer / ingénieur machines tournantes

As part of large industrial projects executed under FEED or EPC contracts , we are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support engineering activities related to rotating machinery.

The consultant will work under the supervision of the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer or the Rotating Equipment Department Manager.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for the following activities:

• Review project contractual and technical documentation
• Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for rotating equipment
• Prepare and manage vendor inquiries and RFQs
• Review technical offers from suppliers
• Organize and participate in technical clarification meetings
• Prepare Technical Bid Tabulations (TBT)
• Support preparation of purchase documentation
• Review and comment vendor documentation
• Participate in equipment testing and technical reviews
• Provide technical reporting to the project discipline lead

Required Skills

• Proven experience as Rotating Equipment Engineer
• Strong knowledge of the following equipment:
• Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
• Pumps
• Steam turbines
• Good knowledge of API 617 and API 616 standards
• Experience in EPC or FEED engineering projects
• Ability to work within contractual and technical project environments
• Professional English required
• International engineering projects
• Interaction with engineering teams and equipment suppliers
• Technical documentation in English
• Reporting to the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer
