Contract Engineer

Job Title: Contracts Engineer

Location: Paris, France

Assignment Type: Residential

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Annually Renewable Contract

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer all contracts throughout the project phases, including Pre-project and FEED. May also support preparation and administration of EPC contracts at later stages.
• Manage the FEED contract and execution contracts.
• Assist the project manager with technical and commercial clarifications during FEED.
• Support the engineering manager during execution of the FEED phase.
• Ensure all tenders and contract activities comply with regulations and internal rules and procedures.
• Prepare procedures related to contracts.
• Organize clarification meetings.
• Negotiate contracts and prepare data for review.
• Support the project control manager with smaller contract placements and related activities.
• Prepare and maintain variation registers, assisting project control on claims, disputes, and negotiations.
• Advise project control manager and project manager on all contract administration matters.

Project Context

• Large-scale energy initiative based in Nebraska, jointly developed by multiple international partners.
• The project team will be based in Paris during FEED, with possible relocation to contractor offices during later project stages.

Technical Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or Law
• Proficiency in English
• 15+ years of professional experience
• 10+ years of experience in project CFT and contract administration within the energy industry
