Description: We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Key Account Manager to join our team in Les Ulis, with a focus on developing and managing key accounts in the Research and Automotive sectors across the Paris and Grand Est regions. The ideal candidate will bring a customer-centric approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers at all levels.
In this role, you will spend over 70% of your time in the field, engaging directly with customers, prospecting new business opportunities, and expanding our market share. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, aligning solutions, and driving customer loyalty while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key automotive and research accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Proactively prospect and expand your customer network, identifying and engaging new clients to capture market share.
- Conduct regular customer visits (3+ days per week), demonstrating technical expertise and a deep understanding of solution selling.
- Build a solid sales pipeline and contribute to accurate forecasting, maintaining a long-term vision for your activity.
- Manage and grow key accounts and research customers in the Paris and Grand Est areas, with a focus on new customer acquisition and expanding market share in Power & Datacom applications.
- Engage multiple stakeholders within key accounts, developing strategies from R&D to End-of-Line (EOL) testing.
- Work closely with Application Engineers and Product Line teams to align customer needs with tailored product solutions.
- Increase market share through strategic sales approaches, fostering customer loyalty and delivering exceptional solutions.
- Utilize digital tools like Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting tools, and CRM to optimize customer acquisition and time management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize resources and enhance customer service.
- Maintain detailed customer data and activity logs using CRM systems.
- Represent the company with professionalism, commitment to ethics, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field.
- Proven track record in sales, ideally in high-tech sectors such as Aerospace, Defense, or Research.
- Strong knowledge of Test & Measurement Equipment, with the ability to translate technical product details into compelling customer solutions.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and closing deals in competitive environments, managing both key accounts and distribution partners.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers at all levels.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Paris and Grand Est regions.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
