Senior expert engineer in PROCUREMENT of service packages, equipment supply and construction companies for industrial project execution
in coordination with the project engineers across the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and piping disciplines, carrying out the tasks described below:
- Specific experience of at least 15 years in project procurement management in a Fast Track delivery model, including:
- Creating shortlists of the best companies for delivery of the brownfield and greenfield project.
- Experience on major projects in France with top-tier companies will be valued (mainly civil and structural contractors and electrical, mechanical and piping installation contractors).
- Contract follow-up, Change Order management and cost control for all contractors, suppliers and service companies linked to the project (3) (approx. 50 contracts/supplies).
- Project language: English . Therefore, a minimum English level of B2 is essential, preferably C1 (this requirement is mandatory). In addition, French at a very high level (C2 or native) is a mandatory requirement.
- Project location and place of work: site office at an industrial plant in the port of Saint‑Nazaire.
Notes
- An engineering degree is essential, and experience in procurement for EPC projects may be of interest.
- The project is industrial, but experience in energy and O&G projects could also be valued.
- This section is key: when we talk about the procurement process, it is not limited to tendering only; we want candidates to have experience managing the range of situations that arise during the construction phase of most projects.
- The project is near Nantes and candidates must be based there.
