About The Role
As an Insulation & Painting Specialist, you will take part in studies for our contracts related to the implementation of petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial facilities.
- Preparing painting, coating, and insulation specifications in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Performing insulation and painting quantity take‑offs.
- Contributing to the preparation of technical documentation for construction contracts (scope and limits of services for insulation or painting works, description of price items, and preparation of associated bills of quantities).
- Supporting construction contracts in the validation of contractors’ technical bids.
- Assisting other disciplines in resolving issues related to anticorrosion protection or insulation.
- Reviewing and commenting on suppliers’ painting, coating, or insulation procedures.
- Participating in inspection, supervision, or expert missions in support of the Project or the Construction Department.
These activities will be carried out in close collaboration with all project disciplines, such as project teams and technical disciplines (Corrosion, Process, Piping Materials, Instrumentation, Equipment, Rotating Machinery, Civil Engineering, Plant Layout), as well as with external stakeholders (such as clients, suppliers, and construction companies).
Your Profile
With an engineering degree (Master’s level / Bac+5), you have at least 3 years of experience in insulation and painting activities, ideally in an industrial environment. You are familiar with international codes, and your technical expertise is well established. Autonomous, dynamic, and responsive, you have strong communication skills. Your ability to listen and advise, as well as your decision‑making and negotiation skills, will be key assets in helping Technip Energies meet its challenges.
You are fluent in English and willing to travel for short assignments in France and abroad.
