Compensation

€40,000 to €80,000 per year depending on profile and experience

About the Role

Vulcain Engineering is strengthening its Materials & Corrosion activities and is looking for a Painting & Insulation Engineer to support major Oil & Gas and Energy projects. You will be involved in both engineering and technical coordination activities, ensuring the robustness and compliance of painting and insulation solutions from design to execution.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop Painting and Insulation Specifications in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Review vendor documentation, including procedures, FQCPs, and ITPs .
• Perform Material Take-Off (MTO) for painting and insulation systems, primarily for piping.
• Clarify design and operating conditions with the Process discipline to confirm appropriate system selection.
• Manage technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines and QCS to address vendor queries and deviation requests.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Deliver high-quality engineering outputs and provide weekly progress reports to the Materials & Welding Lead.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Materials Engineering, Chemistry , or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering or site activities related to painting and insulation .
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and specifications .
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Self-driven, dynamic, with a strong team spirit and good communication skills.
