France Investment Banking Associate opening at an International Investment Bank | Paris

A leading International Investment Bank is looking to add an Associate into its France Investment Banking team in Paris.

This is a group that has strategically grown in the past few years across the entire region and has access to an enviable deal flow that generally focuses on Infrastructure and Industrials along with more conventional sectors. The team is noted for maintaining a high performing yet entrepreneurial and positive culture to operate within, where you will have good access to mentorship from the balanced team of advisors.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in the management and execution of Investment Banking mandates in the French market.
• Support the origination of Investment Banking transactions across the French market.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and client presentations.
• Support senior bankers in the origination and execution of transactions.
• Conduct in-depth industry, company, and market research to support strategic insights.
• Engage directly with clients, investors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time experience in M&A/Investment Banking and Project Finance.
• Strong Infrastructure expertise and technical skills, including financial modeling and valuation (DCF, LBO, DDM, Project Financing, etc.).
• Exceptional academic background from a top-tier university or business school.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a demanding and intellectually rigorous environment.
• Fluency in French is essential.
