Your missions
Oversee the transformation process with the objective of managing and optimizing all raw material processing activities within the operations domain, in collaboration with the maintenance department. This includes sugar storage, packaging, and shipping, as well as alcohol and co‑product storage and dispatch.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage personnel under your responsibility, including performance evaluation, development, and training in line with target organizational structures.
- Ensure effective communication of all types of information to team members.
- Ensure alignment between transformation and maintenance activities.
- Validate maintenance performance in terms of equipment availability.
- Monitor the efficiency of transformation activity organization.
- Supervise external contractors involved in your activities or delegated to you.
- Ensure proper upkeep of assigned equipment.
- Enforce and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
Functions / Actions
- Approve organizational and technical decisions proposed by team members and specialized workshops.
- Organize and analyze technical reports and propose development strategies.
- Lead operational meetings during production periods.
- Communicate maintenance needs to the Technical Director.
- Stay informed about technical developments and seek productivity gains by adopting appropriate methods and organizational structures, sharing them with the team.
- Contribute to the site’s master plan and investment planning; propose necessary investments and improvements.
- Participate in the selection of equipment, improvements, and modifications. In coordination with the Technical Director, organize trials and accept workshop deliveries.
- Participate in and coordinate administrative investigations and studies assigned to you.
- Conduct or outsource preliminary and detailed studies in your areas of responsibility.
- Ensure operational resource planning. Monitor site budget evolution and alert site management of any deviations.
- Supervise assigned projects and worksites.
Your profile
- You hold an engineering degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field, and you have significant experience in an industrial environment.
- You possess strong skills in data analysis and process optimization.
- You are recognized for your excellent communication and teamwork abilities, as well as your capacity to handle unexpected challenges with rigor and organization.
- You are comfortable with IT tools and software.
