PERMANENT CONTRACT – EME MARKETING & COMMUNICATION BUYER (M/F/X)

Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the strategy for the Communications and Professional Services procurement portfolio.
  • Be responsible for and manage the entire Communications procurement portfolio (creative agencies, content production, events, media, influencer marketing, translation, customer service) and Professional Services procurement portfolio (temporary staffing, consultancy, legal services, market analysis) across the EME region.
  • From strategy definition to contract implementation.
  • Act as a true partner to the Marketing, HR & Retail departments in terms of management:
    • Sourcing: panel of new and suitable suppliers
    • Launching and negotiating tenders
    • Implementing framework agreements
  • Reporting on actions taken and results achieved to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Managing SRM: conducting SEPHORA Business Reviews, ensuring contractual compliance and collecting RFAs.
  • Monitoring savings (projected framework agreement savings vs actual expenditure/savings).
  • Communications Procurement: assisting the marketing department in implementing the globalisation strategy and supporting country‑specific messaging.
  • Intellectual Services Procurement: developing this category by conducting a comprehensive audit and opportunity study to confirm the strategy and action plan to be implemented.
  • Working with the global procurement team to highlight EME achievements and/or benchmark against other regions and explore potential synergies.
  • Working with the LVMH coordination team:
    • Taking part in LVMH’s business review and expenditure reporting.
    • Participating in related coordination activities (events, benchmarking, workshops, sharing of best practices, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Master in Procurement (e.g. MAI, ESSEC, DESMA).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in procurement within Marketing and Communications and intellectual services (creative agencies, content production, events, media, influencer marketing, translation, customer service, temporary staffing, consultancy, legal services, market analysis).
  • Strategic vision: analytical, with a ‘big picture’ focus.
  • Able to present to and interact with members of the Executive Committee.
  • Proactive and excellent communication skills, both externally and internally.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with different departments and countries.
  • A flair for figures, data analysis and one‑page PowerPoint presentations.
  • Rigorous, agile and able to synthesise information.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Cost‑saving mindset whilst maintaining a focus on service quality, support for internal clients, and CSR initiatives.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously across a wide range of topics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – comfortable using Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
