ALTERNANCE - Communication VIP/Influence Assistant
Overview and purpose of role
In Paris Communications headquarters, covering the Europe region (excl. UK) and reporting to the Head of VIP & Influence Europe, you will support a busy communication calendar to enhance brand visibility and image with VIPs & Influencers strategic placements on red carpet, stages, movies/series, fashion shows and social media focus.
Key responsibilities of the role
Public Relations
- Ensure the relevant and smooth running of sample movements, overseeing the fulfilment of all press sample requests/returns.
- Liaise with international press offices to manage common projects and local support needed.
- Support the Head of VIP & Influence Europe into the organic pitch for brand placement and paid collaboration with VIPs & Influencers.
- Support manager to facilitate showroom appointments with key talent contacts.
- Maintain and establish positive relationships with VIP stylists, agents, costume designers, designers, etc. to ensure a positive projection of brand image.
- Manage comprehensive, clean and up to date VIP & Influencer + stylists & agent lists with all industry movements for Europe markets (Launchmetrics).
- Ensure the tracking of all VIP & influencer placements and related activities through Launchmetrics & Lefty to nourish a KPI and ROI mindset.
- Take ownership of Talents (social media) coverage weekly reports and those focused on key product launches and events – liaise with Communications Specialist to deliver a global press & talents reporting system.
- Act as the information hub for the team by regularly updating all team materials, including strategic planning documents and project critical paths.
- Support partners in the accounting process and follow up.
- Research and identify new VIPs & Influencers profile the region for day-to-day relationship, events, seedings.
- Involve in the daily organization and logistics of the press office.
Events & Retail
- Support all PR and/or retail events planning (if talents are included) and coordination including seasonal international presentations and press days.
- Work closely with Retail, E‑Com and Merchandising teams to proactively follow sales and sell‑through reports to identify new exposure opportunities.
- Participate in all relevant global and regional meetings, connecting with regional and global teams to share updates and support new opportunities.
- Support manager to compile and manage VIP & Influencer guest lists for departmental events.
- Ownership of post-event and project recap reports for VIP & Influence part.
Project coordination, reporting & analysis
- Act as the information hub for the team by regularly updating all team materials, including strategic planning documents and project critical paths.
- Provide analysis and information, drawing conclusions on market and industry trends, best practices, and customer dynamics to aid in defining new opportunities in terms of VIP / influencers placement.
- Regularly compile and distribute key insights documents for the market.
- Remain abreast of industry news, changes in the VIPs & influencers landscape and trends.
- Act as a brand ambassador and become immersed in the brand culture.
Digital & Social Media
- Support coordination and execution of influencer paid and seeding projects.
- Support VIP & Events Manager on all digital related contracts and payments and other associated documents.
- Contribute, maintain and update the regional influencer target lists.
- Proactively monitor and raise awareness of social media platforms for both the brand and competitors.
- Track and support the analysis of all digital and social activations.
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor degree with a minimum 1‑2 years of experience in PR, marketing, events with VIP & influence and project coordination and communications experience is a plus.
- Experience in luxury fashion and accessories preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and project management skills with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.
- Team player with agility and adaptability to local market and business needs, ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent PC Skills (Excel/Photoshop/Word/PowerPoint) and knowledge of all types of social media platforms.
- Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to interface with all relevant stakeholders and articulate thoughts clearly.
- Ability to communicate in line with company style/strategy and raise issues promptly and report efficiently.
- French as a native language and English obligatory. Another language is a plus (Italian, Spanish, …).
- Genuine interest in creative industries and cultures with a good understanding of media and digital landscapes.
Technical skills
- Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
- Skilled use of DMR/Launchmetrics (Print, Web and Social), Influencer Intelligence and Fashion GPS reporting tools.
- Experience with Launchmetrics and Lefty programs would be an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and positive.
