Area Sales Manager

We are a European manufacturer of advanced laser cutting and automation solutions for the metalworking industry. Thanks to our strong position in the global market and a clear focus on innovation, we deliver high-quality machines tailored to the specific needs of our customers.

As part of our continued growth in France, we are expanding our sales team and looking for a motivated Area Sales Manager who will take ownership of a defined region and contribute to further market development.

What you will do

• Develop the French market – both by acquiring new customers and strengthening existing relationships
• Manage the full sales cycle: from first contact and needs assessment through to negotiation and closing
• Deliver product presentations and technical consultations tailored to each client
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
• Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings
• Report regularly on sales activity, pipeline, and market insights to management
• Use the CRM system (Salesforce) on a daily basis to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activitis

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in selling machinery, technical equipment, or similar industrial products
• Technical educational background (desirable)
• Good understanding of the industrial machinery market
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
• Fluency in French and English
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel within France and occasionally to Poland
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
