Apprentice, Accounts Payable Accountant
INSEAD is looking for an Apprentice, Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Accounts Payable team within the Finance department. This apprenticeship is based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
Reporting to and supervised by the Accounts Payable Manager, the apprentice will assist the Accounts Payable Team with daily duties.
Your role within the team
- Accounts Payable Operations.
- Scan invoices and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Attend to supplier/vendor queries regarding payment and invoice issues.
- Direct and ensure coding of expenditures is accurate before posting to ledger.
- Verify payment to suppliers and staff.
- Prepare various schedules including cash‑in‑advance, Supplier/Vendors Contract List and other reconciliation schedules.
- Assist in verification and follow‑up of vendors’ bank details to prepare wire instructions for foreign payments.
- Review and process the employee expense reimbursement (including department purchase card) and ensure they comply with company policy.
- Assist supervisor with monthly closing activities.
Ideal candidate
- Will start a BTS CG or licence in Finance in September 2026.
- Good communication skills in French and English.
- Well organized and detail‑oriented.
- Motivated, serious, punctual, and reliable.
- Both autonomous and collaborative; team player.
- Tech savvy, comfortable with accounting software and Office suite.
Contract & Location
Apprenticeship contracts combine work and study, allowing young individuals to gain vocational training and practical experience while being paid and working toward a diploma or qualification. Location: Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
