Overview

As part of the Finance team (SE AC RA EU2&AF LE2 – Local Execution 2), you will support accounting activities to manage increased workload and ensure business continuity. This apprenticeship is designed with a knowledge transfer phase, allowing overlap with the current apprentice. You will contribute to daily accounting operations, including financial closing, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records, while developing your skills in a structured and supportive environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• General Accounting Support (50%)
• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries in the general ledger
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities (account analysis, reconciliations, schedules)
• Help maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper transaction coding
• Contribute to the preparation of internal financial reports under supervision

• Transactional Processing (30%)
• Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare payments
• Support monitoring of customer accounts and assist in the collection process
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payment status

• Financial Reconciliation and Control (20%)
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Support internal controls and audit preparation by gathering documentation

What You Bring

• You are currently enrolled in a work-study program (apprenticeship) in Accounting or Finance (e.g., BTS CG, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent)
• You are looking for an entry-level opportunity to build your accounting skills
• A first internship experience in accounting is a plus
• You have a basic understanding of accounting principles
• You are comfortable with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• You have some exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• You have a professional level of English
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
• You demonstrate analytical thinking and strong collaboration skills
• You are proactive and eager to learn
