Accounting Analyst- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable specialist

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role sits within a dynamic finance function and is responsible for supporting core accounting operations alongside delivering accurate reporting, analysis, and financial insight across the business.

The company looking for a detail-focused and proactive Accounting Analyst to join a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Daily Finance Operations

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer receipt reconciliation
• Ensure all invoices are accurately recorded and correctly posted within the accounting system
• Maintain accurate cash postings across AP/AR and perform weekly reconciliations
• Act as the first point of contact for complex receivables queries, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners to resolve issues efficiently
• Support and drive improvements to AP/AR workflows, with a focus on strengthening controls and increasing operational efficiency
• Process employee expenses in line with company travel and expenses policies
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from the wider finance and business teams
• Build strong working relationships across non-finance departments to support smooth operational processes

Month-End & Reporting Support

• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring all journals are posted accurately and on time
• Support accurate allocation of costs across relevant cost centres
• Contribute to variance analysis of P&L performance against budget and forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and group-level reporting packs
• 2–5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable roles, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth business
• Previous experience in a SaaS or similarly structured environment is required
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite or other accounting packages (Xero, Sage, SAP, or QuickBooks)
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach
• Fluency in English required; working knowledge of French at B2 level or above preferred
• Exposure to digital assets or crypto-related finance is advantageous but not essential
