Overview
The Workplace Experience Ambassadors’ primary goal is to impact the care and comfort of employees. They know employees by first name and understand their “delight” preferences. They liaise closely with engineering and operations to ensure the space is visually and environmentally comfortable. Ambassadors solicit customer feedback through face‑to‑face interactions, address hot issues disrupting the office, and bridge operational excellence with personalized customer experience to increase productivity.
Responsibilities
Employee & Visitor Management
- Provide a welcoming approach to all visitors, accommodate them, identify the host, and facilitate collection.
- Explain the rules governing access to the host or building to employees and visitors.
Customer Assistance
- Perform daily site inspections of floors and conference/meeting rooms to ensure shared spaces are stocked, maintained, and appropriately utilized.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, print, food services, custodial staff, IT and 3rd‑party vendors as needed.
- Maintain conference rooms for cleanliness and assist with setup.
- Advise employees on the best use of workplace equipment (AV, Wi‑Fi, focus rooms).
- Submit SNOW tickets on behalf of employees for IT issues to ensure repairs are completed.
Community Engagement
- Act as a host and role model while facilitating community interaction.
- Promote a “know me” mentality and drive behavioral changes needed to support new ways of working (hoteling etiquette, etc.).
- Create engaging communications and training materials that drive experience.
Feedback & Analytics
- Monitors space utilization and runs reports as needed.
- Conduct pulse surveys of occupants.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of the workplace.
Work Order System
- Proactively enter >80% of work orders, following the account‑specific work order process.
- Complete site audits/inspections to ensure the space is functional, visually and environmentally comfortable, well stocked and maintained.
- Resolve work orders within agreed SLAs; if not possible, provide acknowledgement and update as soon as possible.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic workplace environment in corporate or hotel settings.
- Fluent in French and English, with good written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for customer experience.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
