RINA is currently recruiting for a Western PV Energy Yield Consultant to join its office in Ruel Malmaison within the Power Engineering and Renewables Division.
Mission
Focus on providing various clients with engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects
Key Accountabilities
Yield & Technical Analysis
Conduct energy yield assessments for solar PV projects using industry-standard tools (e.g., PVsyst).
Prepare technical analyses, reports, and project documentation supporting project development and concept planning.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality standards in line with the RINA QMS.
Perform technical due diligence for photovoltaic and hybrid projects.
Review technical documentation, design reports, contracts, and performance data.
Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and contribute to due diligence reporting.
Technical Advisory & Client Engagement
Provide technical advisory services across the design, development, and implementation of PV and hybrid projects.
Support client decision-making through clear technical insights and recommendations.
Engage with clients and stakeholders, facilitating discussions, workshops, and supporting business development activities.
Education
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in the photovoltaic sector, with a focus on technical due diligence and energy yield assessment.
Solid understanding of photovoltaic systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Excel, or other solar PV simulation software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in French and English is required.
