VP of Software Engineering
Role
You will be responsible for turning the company’s technical and strategic vision into concrete execution. You will report to the CEO and ensure that the engineering organization delivers with high quality, satisfying both the long‑term company strategy and the customers. You will manage and support Team Leads who oversee their own multi‑disciplinary software development teams. Provide guidance, structure, and coordination across teams to achieve objectives and collaborate with Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and CRM to maintain coherence between technical execution and company priorities.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership & Organizational Support
- Lead, mentor, and support Team Leads and senior engineers across multiple teams.
- Build a cohesive engineering organization with clear communication, priorities, and accountability.
- Define and improve engineering processes: planning, delivery, documentation, CI/CD, reviews, and incident handling.
- Foster an environment of autonomy, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Alignment with Strategy
- Translate business and technical strategy into actionable engineering goals.
- Ensure alignment between company priorities and engineering capacity.
- Help balance innovation (research initiatives) with productisation and delivery.
- Provide technical input for roadmap discussions and resource planning.

Profile required
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including several years in engineering management or leadership roles
- Experience leading or supporting engineering managers (team leads) in a distributed, multicultural setup
- Strong understanding of modern architectures, cloud infrastructure, and sustainable software practices
- Familiarity with open‑source development models
- Able to connect technical goals with business and organisational realities
- Excellent communication skills in English (working language)
