Volunteer Field Multimedia Producer — Amazon Conservation

Overview

Location: Peruvian Amazon, Cuzco region. Duration: 3 months placement. Start dates: enquire with us when applying. Cost: $5,100 USD, which includes all food, accommodation, pre‑departure and in‑country support, orientation and all project‑related activities. Does not include: flights, airport pickup, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Produce a professional portfolio of published multimedia work to showcase a diverse skill‑set to future employers.
• Understand the scientific process and contribute to conservation of biodiversity by working alongside researchers in the field.
• Meet local people and gain knowledge about the sustainability solutions they develop to improve livelihoods and living standards.
• Assist conservation researchers in field techniques and leadership tasks while learning new skills.
• Gain careers advice and development through group workshops and one‑on‑one tutorials to build career confidence and insight into employment options.
