Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate care for Med-Surg patients, with knowledge of age-appropriate needs
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status; identify and respond to changes in condition
• Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning and care coordination
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and other care team members to ensure continuity of care
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and adhere to safety and infection control standards

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating night shifts
• Travel assignment eligibility; must be willing to relocate or commute as required
• Ability to work in a hospital setting
• Travel eligibility policy: in-state travelers are not accepted unless located more than 250 miles from the assignment location
