Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for the obstetrical patient and newborn using the nursing process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and intervene as per protocol
• Support newborn care and parent education, including lactation support and newborn assessment
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care and patient flow
• Participate in rotational call and maintain readiness to respond to obstetric emergencies

Requirements

• Active Montana RN license
