Technical Sales Engineer (F/H)

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support key rail manufacturers and operators in France and across Europe.

The role can be based in any of our EMEA Brakes & Couplers locations.

Responsibilities

• Influence the technical decision‑making of OEMs and French operators.
• Lead technical discussions, negotiations, and the structuring of tender processes.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, procurement, RAMS, and maintenance teams.
• Define system configurations and clearly present complex technical content.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of competing braking systems and market trends.
• Anticipate customer needs (fleet renewals, tender pipelines) and help shape internal strategy.
• Work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, RAMS, and Product Management teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree.
• More than 7 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering.
• Experience with French rail stakeholders (OEMs, SNCF Group, RATP) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of EN, UIC, TSI, and ERA standards.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent proficiency in French and English.
• Availability to travel.
