Job Description
Senior Procurement Engineer – SPS & SURF
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full procurement and contract support to affiliates and capital projects.
- Support sourcing strategies including bidder screening, supplier engagement, tender development, and negotiations.
- Deliver market intelligence, customized procurement analyses and benchmarks to support decision‑making.
- Advise on and manage complex CFT structures (CCFT, OBE/OBT, FEED+, EPFS, EPCI).
- Develop CFT packages including commercial structures and contract terms.
- Support contractual qualifications, exception reviews and negotiations.
- Evaluate commercial aspects of bids, recommend awards and advise on tools, methodologies and normalisation strategies.
- Support projects with relevant market, supply‑chain intelligence and benchmarks throughout project gates.
Procurement & Contract Administration
- Define, promote and implement procurement strategies with technical counterparts to secure vessels, manufacturing slots, resources, and services in tight market conditions.
- Develop long‑term frame agreements, Preferred Supplier Agreements and other strategic procurement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with governance and contract processes within the category perimeter (CFT, approvals, committees).
- Represent Procurement in project reviews, steering committees, and governance forums.
- Coordinate creation and updates of contract templates and procurement tools.
- Monitor supplier performance and promote contract compliance.
Coordination & Centralised Procurement
- Coordinate closely with legal and project entities on subjects within the category perimeter.
- Identify and promote synergies and value‑adding centralised procurement opportunities.
- Lead or support centralised procurement initiatives for SPS and/or SURF supply or services with multi‑project or multi‑country scope.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through consolidation of lessons learned and contract REX.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in EPCI and/or EPFS contract administration for subsea offshore projects.
- At least 10 years of recent experience with SPS and SURF contracts.
- Recognised expertise in subsea packages, procurement strategy, market intelligence and complex negotiations.
- Strong exposure to Subsea Production Systems projects or operations.
- Experience in Transport & Installation offshore projects; offshore wind experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in complex, multi‑stakeholder and international environments.
- Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills.
