Mission

As Store Manager for Dries Van Noten at Galeries Lafayette, you are responsible for the overall performance and daily management of the space within the department store environment. You lead and inspire the team to deliver a distinctive and refined client experience while ensuring strong commercial results and operational excellence. You act as an ambassador of the house, ensuring that the Dries Van Noten universe is consistently expressed in every aspect of the client journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure an exceptional client experience aligned with the values of the house
  • Drive sales performance and implement strategies to achieve commercial objectives
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Ensure the Dries Van Noten space consistently reflects brand standards in terms of presentation and visual merchandising
  • Oversee daily store operations including stock management, reporting and operational processes
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships while encouraging strong clienteling practices within the team
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Galeries Lafayette management and teams to ensure smooth collaboration
  • Foster a positive team culture based on professionalism, collaboration and shared responsibility

Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in premium or luxury retail, including management experience
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills
  • Elegant and confident communication style with a strong sense of service
  • A genuine appreciation for culture, design and craftsmanship
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are considered an asset
