Stagiaire Business Analyst - Finance & Automatisation

Overview

The Stagiaire Business Analyst - Finance & Automatisation (6 months) will join the Finance Transformation & Control team of three people, led by the Head of Finance Transformation and Controls. The team is responsible for optimizing and modernizing Wakam's financial processes: closure, reporting, reconciliations, FP&A and treasury.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents.
• Design and deploy automation agents for finance processes such as closure, reporting, reconciliations.
• Use no-code/low-code tools to create innovative solutions.
• Test and document use cases and their operational impact.
• Contribute to the adoption of AI within finance.
• Create and measure business cases for transformation projects.
• Analyze potential gains (cycle time reduction, automation, data quality).
• Track and measure realized benefits post-implementation.
• Present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Process analysis and optimization.
• Map current finance processes (as-is) across scope (closure, reporting, FP&A, treasury, etc.).
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Propose target processes (to-be) and implementation plans.
• Use various methodologies such as process mining, BPMN, data analysis.
• Document user stories, data flows and controls.
• Support cross-functional cooperation.
• Participate in transformation workshops with Accounting, FP&A, Data and IT teams.
• Maintain documentation (runbooks, lineage, controls).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of standards and templates.

Qualifications

• Student at Bac+4/5 level in business school, engineering school or university with a strong finance, management control or audit focus.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query).
• Strong interest in automation tools and new technologies; curiosity about AI and no-code tools is a plus.
• Comfortable manipulating and analyzing data with rigor.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), essential in our international environment.
