SDLC Automation Engineer- (h/f)

Summary:The role of the SDLC Automation Engineer is central to enhancing the efficiency of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the Finance Data and Analytics team of a global banking client. The primary objective is to design, build, and operationalize automation processes, ensuring quality and security throughout the development workflow.

Responsibilities: Automate generation of acceptance criteria, test cases, and unit tests.

Develop intelligent code review agents for static analysis and secure coding practices.

Implement automated validation pipelines to streamline testing processes.

Integrate automation tools with JIRA and Micro Focus ALM Octane.

Create connectors, webhooks, and maintain API automation within CI/CD pipelines and facilitate continuous testing with automated quality across teams to enhance workflow efficiency and lead proof of concepts (Po

Cs) for AI-assisted development.

Key Requirements

Strong experience in Python.

Experience with JIRA and Octane APIs.

Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC, quality assurance, and unit testing.

Experience with Dev

Ops pipelines (e.g., Git

Hub, Jenkins).

Familiarity with AI/LLM automation frameworks.

Key Requirements

Familiarity with Sonar

Qube and Testing methodologies (BDD, SAST/DAST).

ISTQB, Dev

Ops, or Atlassian certifications (preferred).
