Eurofins seeks a final-year engineering intern to support continuous improvement projects at its Saverne laboratory. The role involves leading infrastructure initiatives, deploying lean methodologies, and identifying digitalization opportunities to optimize laboratory operations and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement laboratory improvement and reorganization projects including infrastructure work and supplier coordination
• Provide methodological support to teams using lean techniques and facilitate working group facilitation
• Design and deploy lean tools including 5S initiatives and visual management systems
• Analyze production processes and identify cost optimization opportunities for the laboratory
• Identify and evaluate digitalization and automation opportunities for laboratory processes

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent Bac+5 qualification in industrial, process, or mechanical engineering
• Familiarity with lean management methodologies (5S, VSM, Kaizen) and problem-solving approaches
• Fluent English proficiency
• Proactive, pragmatic mindset with strong teamwork and engagement orientation
• Technical interest in maintenance, manual work, and troubleshooting preferred
