What you will learn and accomplish

Join Malt’s Sales team, the leader in freelancing in France, and actively take part in the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to client retention. Support public sector organizations in finding the best freelancers for their strategic projects.

The public sector shapes our daily lives—education, healthcare, environment, transportation, and more. This internship will give you the opportunity to contribute to the innovation and agility of these essential services through freelancing.

At Malt, you will join a team of experts in sales and the public sector, where you will be quickly trained and become part of a demanding yet supportive collective. Together, let’s transform the world of work.

Your responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure meetings through cold calling and prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a client network to generate business opportunities
  • Analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Attend client meetings and follow up on opportunities with your internship supervisor
  • Support responses, negotiations, and the management of tenders
  • Collaborate with other Malt teams to optimize internal processes

Your profile

  • Student in a business school, engineering school, or political science program, seeking a 6‑month internship starting in July 2026
  • A hunter mindset: prospecting, convincing, and closing deals motivate you
  • Results‑driven, comfortable working with sales targets
  • Previous experience in B2B sales and an interest in the public sector are a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients and freelancers
  • Autonomous, well‑organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

The recruitment process

  • 30‑minute interview with Sarah to discuss your background and ambitions
  • 45‑minute interview with members of the Public Sector team to go over the role in detail
  • Final discussion with the Head of Public Sector Sales

Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other onboardees at our office in Paris.

Paid vacation: 1 paid day/month worked for interns, 5 weeks/year for apprenticeships.
