Boccard delivers turnkey installations incorporating industrial processes, fully aligned with our clients' production needs. We operate in diverse and demanding sectors and have a global presence : nuclear, thermal, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food & ingredients, and many more
Job DescriptionContext
As part of the deployment of our internal software Boctrack across all Boccard projects, we are looking for a Software Deployment & Training Manager. Boctrack is a 100% in-house developed tool designed to optimise the management and traceability of industrial projects. It includes two modules:
- Manufacturing: monitoring workshop production
- Construction: managing on-site operations
This software covers the entire project lifecycle, from creation to delivery, with key features such as:
- Organisation and traceability of manufacturing and assembly stages
- Scheduling and prioritisation of work orders
- Material management and certificate tracking
- Weld and qualification monitoring
- Controls and inspections (NDT, testing, deliveries)
Boctrack is a strategic tool for ensuring productivity, transparency, and control, while offering web access for clients.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Construction Business Unit, you will act as the Boctrack reference point. This role involves occasional travel within France and internationally (Portugal, UK…). Your missions include two main areas:
Training and User Support
- Update and distribute existing user manuals,
- Provide first-level support (resolving usage-related issues),
- Audit field practices and suggest improvements,
- Plan and deliver training sessions for site teams across France,
Software Deployment and Improvement
- Manage user access and licences,
- Ensure the integrity of libraries,
- Create new modules tailored to construction activities (project creation, article references, etc.),
- Gather new user requirements and communicate them to developers,
- Test new functionalities with developers before release,
- Collaborate with the purchasing team for necessary equipment (tablets, printers, etc.),
- Promote the software internally and during client presentations or trade shows.
Ideally, you have a background in metallurgy, boiler-making, or industrial piping — or experience in these areas through previous employers or clients. A strong interest in industrial environments and construction sites is essential.
Comfortable with IT tools (no need to be a developer) and confident in a training role.
Intermediate English at minimum is preferred, as the software is in English and this will also facilitate communication with developers.
Key qualities: teaching ability, analytical mindset, hands-on approach, and mobility.
