What does it mean to be a Nuclear Project Quality Manager?
Based at our Villeurbanne offices, this role involves regular visits to the construction site in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance and to our production facilities in Roanne and Boccard Portugal, ensuring close coordination with quality teams. Combining operational expertise with functional leadership, you will oversee a team of approximatly twenty people across three sites, all while upholding nuclear safety culture.
What will your main responsibilities be?
Around 40% of your time – Ensure that the project organisation complies with the quality management system and provide support to operational teams. Take part in reviewing documents and processes related to contract execution, and guarantee the smooth running of internal audits.
Around 30% of your time – Contribute to supplier evaluation alongside inspection and purchasing teams. Check input data for drafting purchase orders (quantities, modification requests, etc.) and validate orders before they are sent to suppliers, ensuring compliance with Quality/Safety clauses.
Around 30% of your time – Manage the non-conformity process and monitor follow-up actions. Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures, oversee customer complaint handling, and help draft procurement and inspection specifications for the contract.

Who will you report to?
The position reports to the Business Unit Quality Manager, based in Villeurbanne.
What skills are we looking for?
Education
You have completed a Master's degree through an engineering school or university programme, ideally with a focus on quality management.
You bring solid experience in nuclear projects (preferably new builds or modification/maintenance) as a Project Quality Manager and have previously managed people within a quality organisation.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 19443 standards, as well as EN 13480 and RCCM codes, is essential.
Additional expertise in welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and surface treatment (painting and passivation) would be appreciated.
Soft Skills
Strong prioritisation skills, leadership, and effective communication are key for this management role.
You must also be capable of coordinating and steering multiple stakeholders across a wide range of topics.
