GB2 Project Quality Manager – M/F
Our Mission
Boccard designs, builds, and maintains turnkey industrial facilities. Thanks to our expertise in piping and boiler-making, we collaborate with leading companies across various sectors: EDF, Orano, CEA (nuclear), Sanofi (pharmaceutical), L'Oréal and Clarins (cosmetics), Danone (food industry), and many more
What project will you be working on?
GB2 Project (Georges Besse 2):
Located at the Tricastin site, this industrial platform is dedicated to uranium conversion and enrichment, operated by Orano. The Georges Besse 2 extension project aims to boost the plant's annual production capacity by nearly 30%. To achieve this, the facility will expand from 14 to 18 production modules, while maintaining the same design standards as the current plant.
Boccard's Role:
On March 27, 2024, Orano entrusted Boccard, as lead of the consortium, with managing the project, manufacturing, and installing 88 UF6 stations (electromechanical systems) for the plant's extension. These stations are essential to supply the facility. Boccard brings its expertise in modular construction, supported by its teams in Pierrelatte and Roanne. The "UF6 process" package includes, among other tasks, the prefabrication and on-site assembly of all aluminum piping.
