Position and Mission
The Logistics and General Services Manager oversees the association's logistics provider for stock management, order preparation, and delivery to intervention countries. They also handle transport within France, including special pickups of biomedical equipment. Additionally, they manage General Services at the Paris headquarters with a team including a reception officer, a general services officer, and external providers and volunteers.
Reporting to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, they collaborate with medical purchasing teams, field logistics, biomedical departments, program teams, service providers, and finance services.
Main Activities
Stock Management
- Manage medical stocks supplied by medical and biomedical buyers, overseeing storage and order preparation providers.
- Supervise daily activities of the logistics provider, validate invoicing, handle incidents, and ensure stock information accuracy.
- Provide reports, analyze activity indicators, and conduct inventories.
Transport and Customs
- Select the most suitable transport schemes, manage freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Manage customs procedures, documentation, and regulatory updates.
Stock Software Management
- Serve as the key contact for stock management software providers and users.
- Maintain and update stock databases, especially for biomedical procurement.
General Services
- Ensure the smooth operation of the headquarters' services, manage service providers, and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop the team including volunteers, ensuring continuous service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in supply chain management or international transport (minimum BAC+3).
- 6-8 years of professional experience, especially in international freight, flow management, or warehouse administration.
- Experience in General Services management is highly valued.
Skills and Attributes
- Expertise in international transport chains, incoterms, and regulations.
- Knowledge of stock and warehouse management concepts, ERP/WMS systems.
- Leadership, communication skills, organizational rigor, resilience to stress.
- Ability to multitask, proactive, positive, and service-oriented.
- Fluent in French and English, with a strong ethical commitment.
Conditions
- Permanent contract, managerial position.
- Full-time based at the headquarters in Paris, 75015.
- Start date: September 1, 2025.
- Benefits include health insurance, meal vouchers, transportation reimbursement, telecommuting policy, 23 RTT days, salary between €45,600 and €50,400 gross/year depending on experience.
