Seed Quality Testing Innovation Technology
The Seed Quality Testing Innovation Work Lead is A global work lead reporting to the Head of SPI Technology, and steers and guides SPI’s global seed quality innovation strategy in alignment with Product Supply outcomes. You are responsible for aligning global PS quality testing priorities and desired outcomes with regional work leads and key stakeholders across R&D, Commercial, and Product Supply. You will also be accountable for planning, monitoring and managing global research and development projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a global team focused on identifying, developing, and implementing innovative physiological, genetic, and seed health quality testing solutions - from testing methodologies and process improvements to new technologies, data-driven approaches and automation — that elevate seed quality standards, consistency, and reliability across all regions and production environments. Translate quality innovation priorities into actionable, scalable initiatives across regions;

Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables;
Support long-term planning for quality capabilities, tools, resources, and innovation pipelines;
Guide and coach others in designing, executing, and interpreting complex experiments to support data-driven decisions;
Work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with all key stakeholders;
Track milestones, risks, budgets, and outcomes for quality innovation projects;
Support global standardization and best-practice sharing while considering regional production needs, equipment differences, and market requirements;
Serve as a key point of contact for seed quality innovation across global, regional, and local quality and production teams;
Foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
Partner with Work Leads and Home Leads to support budget planning, forecasting, and execution.
Provide insights, recommendations, and resource optimization strategies to maximize return on investment and ensure effective use of budget resources.

Required Qualifications
Ability to establish robust collaborations and build productive relationships with diverse organizations;
Bachelors Degree;
Excellent Project Management and Change Management skills with a track record of successful project delivery and people leadership, preferably in a technology environment;
Proven ability to operate as a Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach;
Exceptional interpersonal skills to inspire and influence in a highly matrixed, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
An M.Sc. in agricultural research or a related technical field;
10+ years of experience in the seed industry;
A flexible mindset, comfortable navigating organizational change and ambiguity;
Strong understanding of business priorities and the ability to connect individual employee capabilities to the company's broader strategic goals.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $178,320.00 - 267,480.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
