Seed Processing Transformation Work Lead
The Seed Processing Transformation Work Lead is A global work lead reporting to the Head of SPI Technology, and steers and guides SPI’s global seed processing facility strategy in alignment with Product Supply outcomes. You are responsible for aligning global PS Seed Processing Innovation priorities and desired outcomes with regional work leads and key stakeholders across R&D, Commercial, and Product Supply. You will also be accountable for planning, monitoring and managing global research and development projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a global team that focuses on driving innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across RC and Veg seed processing facilities worldwide;
Lead development and implementation of novel seed conditioning processes, technologies, and best practices to improve field performance, seed quality, productivity, and reliability;
Coordinate with cross‑functional, regional, and global stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, resources, and deliverables;
Guide and coach colleagues in designing, executing, and interpreting complex experiments and data to support evidence‑based decisions;
Prioritize the team’s highest‑impact work, track milestones, risks, budgets, and outcomes, and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared across geographies;
Ensure solutions are scalable and consistently executed across production environments while supporting standardization and knowledge transfer;
Serve as the primary point of contact for global RC and Veg seed processing initiatives and foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement;
Partner with Work Leads and Home Leads on budget planning, forecasting, and resource optimization to maximize return on investment.
Provide insights, recommendations, and resource optimization strategies to maximize return on investment and ensure effective use of budget resources.

WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree;
Ability to establish robust collaborations and build productive relationships with diverse organizations;
Strong project management and change management skills with a track record of successful project delivery and people leadership;
Proven ability to build effective cross‑functional collaborations and influence in a complex, matrixed organization;
Experience designing and scaling processing technologies or conditioning processes with a data‑driven mindset;
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and coach multidisciplinary teams;
Demonstrated experience operating as a visionary, architect, catalyst, and coach in technology‑led environments;
Flexible, adaptive approach to change and ambiguity, with a clear focus on linking technical work to business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the seed industry with demonstrated delivery of technical and operational outcomes;
M.Sc. in agricultural research or a related technical field.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $178,320.00 - 267,480.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
