The Core Infrastructure Team is looking for a new apprentice in Infrastructure Engineering for living thrilling adventures. You will help us to provide reliable, performant and secure services to guarantee the best Deezer experience around the world in a resource‑efficient way. You will work in a high traffic and high availability environment with interesting projects.
By joining the Core Infrastructure Team at Deezer, you will:
Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering teams to help identify, assess and remediate security vulnerabilities across our infrastructure and applications.
Support day‑to‑day security operations and contribute to reducing risk through automation and tooling.
Contribute to the design and implementation of security controls and best practices across our cloud environments.
Help maintain continuous visibility through proactive threat monitoring, anomaly detection and incident response.
Grow your security skills by participating in code reviews, threat modeling sessions and learning from experienced engineers within the team.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
You’re ideally a second‑year master’s student.
Experience 0 – 2 years.
Essential
Knowledge in a scripting language (Python or Go).
Knowledge of GNU/Linux systems (we use Ubuntu).
Experience with Ansible, Git, Helm.
Knowledge of Terraform and Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE and containerization (Docker).
Also required:
Good communication skills and the capacity to adapt.
At ease in teamwork and sharing of work.
Autonomous.
Ability to learn, to be creative and innovative.
Fluent in writing well‑documented procedures in English.
