Sap Finance Control Consultant

Location: Europe (Remote-first with occasional travel ~1x/month France )

The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to take ownership of finance processes within a mature SAP S/4HANA environment .

This role has been created following the departure of a key internal expert and is business-critical , offering immediate impact across financial systems and operations.

You will focus on stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement rather than large-scale transformation, working closely with finance stakeholders and internal SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support SAP FI/CO processes across the business
• Maintain and enhance finance systems within S/4HANA
• Work closely with finance and controlling stakeholders
• Support and optimise Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) processes
• Contribute to Concur (expenses & travel) processes (where applicable)
• Collaborate with internal SAP teams and analystsEnsure continuity and stability of critical financial systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO)
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (or strong ECC background)
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders

Highly Desirable

• Experience with SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)
• Exposure to SAP Concur
• Experience in integrated SAP landscapes across multiple systems
• Background in European finance environments
• Remote-first role with occasional travel (~1x per month)
