Principal Consultant - SAP PEO Location: Toulouse, France (Remote + Travel) Compensation: Competitive + Bonus
Overview
We are hiring a Principal Consultant - SAP PEO to join a leading global consulting organisation delivering complex transformation programmes across manufacturing and supply chain environments.
This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with global clients, driving end-to-end SAP PEO implementations and shaping best-in‑class manufacturing processes.
Candidates can be based in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Poland, Romania, or Hungary , with the expectation to travel to Toulouse 2+ times per month .
Your Role
As a Principal Consultant, you will take ownership of SAP PEO solution delivery, working directly with stakeholders across business and IT to design, configure, and implement scalable solutions.
You will play a key role in bridging engineering and manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless execution from design to shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and engage with stakeholders across multiple sites
- Own end-to-end delivery of SAP PEO solutions
- Identify process gaps and define functional/technical improvements
- Write and manage WRICEF objects and functional specifications
- Configure SAP PEO and related modules
- Execute testing cycles and manage defect resolution
- Lead cutover, migration, and deployment activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (MM, PP, QM, etc.)
- Manage data preparation, validation, and execution for PEO
- Work closely with business teams and cutover managers during go-live
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP PEO (Production Engineering & Operations)
- Proven track record in full lifecycle SAP PEO or SAP PP implementations
- Deep understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes
- Functional expertise in PEO, MES, and Production Planning (PP)
- Experience across SAP modules including MM, QM, and PP
- Strong knowledge of:
- BOM management
- EBOM to MBOM transformation
- Shop floor routings and production models
- Experience in change management processes and impact analysis
- Ability to deliver projects within time, cost, and quality constraints
- Experience in discrete manufacturing environments (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Integration experience with EWM and shop floor systems
- Knowledge of ePPDS
- French language skills (advantageous)
- For Germany-based candidates: B2 German required
