We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow project sales across the Commercial, Navy, Offshore and Yacht (CNOY) segments in Europe, with a particular focus on France. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, building strong customer relationships, and coordinating closely with internal teams to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Drive project, service and spare parts sales to achieve order intake, net sales and gross margin targets
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and manage sales activities to ensure long-term satisfaction
- Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with shipyards, ship owners, consultants and channel partners
- Lead contract negotiations in line with pricing and commercial policies
- Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities, including introduction of new products and solutions
- Record and manage all sales activities accurately in CRM
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (project management, customer operations, finance, legal and marketing) to ensure smooth handover and delivery
- Contribute to the wider global sales organisation by sharing opportunities outside your assigned area
- Potential to take on account ownership responsibilities as the role evolves
About you
- 3–5 years’ experience in sales, account management or customer relations within a service or project-based business
- Proven ability to negotiate and influence at multiple organisational levels
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship‑building skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable sales plans
- Confident working cross‑functionally and informally leading opportunity teams
- Experienced CRM user with strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Native French and full professional proficiency in English
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly
