We are seeking an experienced Draughtsperson with strong Solid

Works expertise to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is a fully autonomous role where you’ll take ownership of mechanical design projects from concept through to production-ready documentation, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities\n\n

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid

Works

Design complete mechanical assemblies with full tolerancing

Produce manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation

Ensure compliance with ISO, EN, and internal standards

Manage projects from specification through to final validation

Interpret technical requirements and propose design improvements

Liaise with production, quality, and procurement teams

Support prototyping and manufacturing phases

Drive design optimisation for cost, performance, and manufacturability

Provide training and upskilling in Solid
