Sales lead - Domain banking (H/F)

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Sales lead to oversee client acquisition, relationship management, and business development initiatives within our Banking division in France. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of the banking ecosystem, exceptional client engagement abilities, and a demonstrated history of generating revenue through building trusted relationships and employing consultative selling approaches. This role emphasizes cultivating strong client partnerships, developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, and driving account growth by introducing innovative solutions, leveraging consultative sales techniques, and delivering value-driven offerings tailored to each segment within the banking sector.
Drive business development initiatives across corporate and institutional banking clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level, senior business, and functional leaders. Act as a strategic advisor with deep understanding of client business priorities and regulatory environment and drive long-term partnerships, client satisfaction, and retention.
- Sales Execution and Governance: Own the end-to-end sales life cycle, including negotiation and deal closure. Maintain strong forecasting in demand creation.
- Market Penetration & Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with organizational strategy and local market trends.
- Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans focused on client satisfaction, revenue maximization, and service excellence.
- Ideation and Value Creation: Bring innovative ideas and industry insights aligned to client priorities and feed market and client insights to create go-to-market strategies.
- Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Ensure all business activities adhere to French and EU banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal governance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or capital markets, with at least 8 years in senior sales or relationship management roles.
- Ability to identify and create growth opportunities to build heavy pipeline.
- Established network within French banking and financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of French and European banking markets, products, and regulations.
- Proven success in strategic client acquisition, demand creation and revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
