Purpose Of The Position
The main objective is to develop the sales and market share of Parker products in the FCCE & IPDE market. This position reports directly or indirectly to the Fluid Connectors & Africa Sales leader.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate sales growth aligned with the objectives of the Win Strategy and the strategy of the Industrial Groups involved in the FCCE & IPDE activity,
- Define in agreement with your hierarchy the Sales Strategy to achieve your objectives
- Design and manage the deployment of "Business Plans" and other action plans if necessary,
- Strive to discover new potential customers and new applications according to the defined strategy
- Respond to calls for tenders, carry out commercial proposals and ensure negotiations in collaboration with the Quotation/Technical Support department,
- Ensure good coordination with the support services (Customer Service, Divisions, etc.)
- Ensure the proper use of our CRM Sales Force and other Parker tools
- To ensure the reporting obligations requested by its management,
- Contribute to the collection of doubtful debts on an ad hoc basis,
- Report to your manager any information on the market, customers or competitors,
- Define and monitor budgets (sales & expenses),
- Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and support sales promotion, advertising and product information actions within its FCCE & IPDE market,
- To work closely with European and international factories in order to provide quality answers to our customers,
- Actively support contractual negotiations,
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Technical engineering degree, required level and knowledge of the market.
- Willingness to create something new and be open to change with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable with digital tools,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management tools and performance monitoring software
- Analytical skills to interpret data and performance reports.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management to maintain a relationship of trust with customers.
- Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Concern for business development; Internal/external customer orientation and results orientation.
- Fluency in French and English (B2 / C1 level).
- Ability to anticipate customer needs from a technical, logistical and commercial point of view.
- Good knowledge of contract negotiation and key legal issues.
- Mobility may be necessary from time to time to travel anywhere in France and the EMEA zone; valid driving licence.
