Responsibilities
You are responsible for the sales of specialty gas within the Benelux, to Air Liquide affiliates and for exporting to direct customers.
You implement the specific commercial strategy for customers in your market.
You lead the sales forces of the R&A market segment and are responsible for sales development and customer satisfaction.
You ensure compliance of the commercial policy, the market objectives of the Cluster, and the marketing plan of R&A to meet targets and achieve the best results.
You analyse sales performance, deviations from objectives, and follow KPIs. You manage, coach and develop your team members and provide support as needed.
You actively participate in the "customer experience" and ensure preventive and corrective measures are in place for operational performance and customer satisfaction.
As a contributor to the management of the Scott entity and the Hydrocarbon facility, you are responsible for strategy (including pricing) for the Scott Specialty Gases entity, the sales side of the P&L, and alignment with the Scott & Aalter Plant Manager on operations. You also manage the "on demand" team located at Scott and the Aalter sales responsibilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge: You have a good understanding of (analytical) chemistry or a background in laboratory-related industries.
You are an experienced Sales Manager with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Business Development and Management.
You are fluent in English and Dutch; French is an asset.
