Responsabilités
- Coordinate several engineering disciplines for one or more projects of electrical power generation equipment for a new nuclear power plant (steam turbine, alternator, heat exchangers, pumps).
- Lead engineering activities within the design office in a high‑complexity and rapidly changing environment.
- Co‑coordinate and animate a team of project engineers for the disciplines under your responsibility (equipment design, mechanical calculations, regulatory compliance, installation methods).
- Ensure contractual, regulatory and HSE requirements are applied (contract analysis, requirement management, deviation requests).
- Conduct design reviews for your disciplines, freeze design and manage interfaces with internal and external partners.
- Ensure timely issuance of engineering documents, manage engineering budget (with support of management controllers and discipline leads).
- Manage engineering schedule (with support of planning leads and disciplines).
- Report key indicators (on‑time document delivery, budget, late design changes, design reviews).
- Interface with the client and project team for your disciplines (respond to client comments, participate in project and client meetings).
- Interface with Arabelle Solutions factories, external suppliers and on‑site assembly teams, supported by project engineers.
- Work in an international, multi‑site environment.
Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering degree and at least 10 years of experience with rotating machinery in the industry.
- Experience in a technical coordination role (project engineer, package engineer, PEM, …).
- Technical expertise in rotating machinery and general knowledge of nuclear power plant operation.
- Comfortable with budget, schedule and interface management.
- Ability to work in multi‑site, multi‑cultural teams across several disciplines.
- Strong communication, team‑management, problem‑solving skills and diligence.
- Resilience in critical situations.
- Advanced English (oral/written).
- Fluent French (oral/written).
